Welcome to POAC 2019

Delft University of Technology welcomes you to The Netherlands for the 25th edition of the International Conference on Port and Ocean Engineering under Arctic Conditions. Around 200 participants from over 30 countries are expected to participate in four days of exciting presentations and discussion of research ideas. In addition to the main sessions, our guests will be treated to a welcome party, technical tours and a gala banquet, in and around the beautiful city of Delft.

Registration for the POAC2019 edition has opened! Registration is possible via the following link: Registration and submission. The early bird tickets will be available until the 22nd of April 2019, but bare in mind that events can have a maximum number of participants.

POAC is proud to present the destination of the Technical Tour. On Wednesday the 11th of June, the Technical Tour will visit a company, founded in The Netherlands and globally known for their pioneering Research in offshore and nautical projects. Abstract admission is available

The abstract admission for POAC 2019 is available now: Abstract submission. The paper template is also available on the website at Registration and submission. The abstract deadline is on the 11th of December 2018. The paper submission will be available at the end of January 2019.

The City of Vermeer

Delft University of Technology is proud to welcome POAC to the Netherlands for the first time. The city of Delft with its tree-lined canals, charming buildings and rich history is sure to provide a delightful setting for the conference. The venue for POAC 2019 is the Aula Conference Centre at the heart of the TU Delft campus. The venue is at a 10 minutes walking distance from Delft Centre and only 5 minutes from Delft Central Station by bus. In turn, Delft Central Station is easily accessible by trains from all major Dutch cities and airports.
